Product Pipeline We are actively developing a robust pipeline with multiple product leads with potential clinical applications in the treatment of cancer, proliferative and inflammatory disorders, and infectious diseases. Although the Company's primary focus is on cancer therapy, and we are actively seeking development partners for malaria, inflammatory diseases and other clinical applications.
Cancer Positive in vitro and in vivo data have been obtained in 60 human cancer cell lines and models for ART Dimers, ART-Peptides and ART-Iron Chelators, and the Company is currently optimizing the lead formulations for additional safety and efficacy studies.
Proliferative and Inflammatory Disorders Positive in vitro data have been obtained in a hyperplasic disease, and the Company is initiating in vitro and in vivo studies in other proliferative and inflammatory disorders.
Infectious Diseases Positive in vitro data have been obtained in bacterial disease cells with an artemisinin conjugate. Preclinical efficacy and safety have been established in malaria and Chagas disease (T. cruzi) for ART Dimers. The Company is planning to undertake additional preclinical studies with these compounds in infectious disease models.
